These are products I personally recommend to help support safe and comfortable healing after your piercing. I have chosen items that are gentle, simple, and suitable for sensitive skin-especially for babies and children.

Most piercings heal best with minimal care, so these are not required, but they can make the process easier and more comfortable.

PRECISION Q-Tips

Q-Tips are not always necessary to use on healing piercings everyday; however, occasionally your healing piercing will form secretions or "crusties" and you will need to remove them with a Q-tip. Regular Q-tips are fluffy and more likely to wrap fibers around the jewelry. Please use precision Q-tips from the link above to avoid these irritating fibers.

Sterile Gauze for Drying

It is very important to dry the healing piercing regularly to ensure there is no sitting moisture to grow bacteria. For extra safety, please use sterile gauze to dry the piercing after every cleaning and shower/bath.

Satin Baby Mittens

Ear Piercing Pillow

For babies, satin crib sheets are optional; however, they can provide a cool surface for sleeping and reduce snags by providing a softer, "gliding" surface instead of rough fabric against their ear.

Stroller Fan

The enemy to healing piercings is excessive sweat and moisture. A stroller fan can be helpful with healing to keep your baby cool and prevent excessive sweating during healing.
